3. Data Processing in the Ventux App
The Ventux app does not collect, transmit, or store any data outside your device. There is no account, no login, no analytics, and no network connection of any kind — this has been verified by inspecting the app's source code for any network request.
All data is stored exclusively locally on your device, including:
- Wind stations, target range, and shot azimuth
- Saved scenarios and wind log history
- Load (bullet) profiles
- App settings (theme, units)
You can remove all stored data at any time by deleting the app.
3.1 Purchase
Ventux is offered as a one-time purchase with no subscription. Payment processing is handled exclusively through the Apple App Store directly on your device (StoreKit). Apple processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not receive any payment instrument information from Apple, and no purchase data is transmitted to any server we operate.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract — provision of the purchased app content).
4. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not use cookies. No tracking, analytics, or advertising services are employed. No usage data is transferred to third parties.
